Our Dog Grooming Process

A quiet Leeds dog grooming salon with gentle handling, one-to-one treatment, and beautiful results. Easy parking and easy booking.

Most appointments take 1.5–3 hours.

1) Consultation

We start with a coat and skin check, a chat about style and comfort, and any behaviour notes or sensitivities. We agree the right service for your dog, from tidy ups to full grooms, and confirm pricing.

2) Cleanse and Prepare

A gentle bath and blow dry using products suited to your dog’s coat and skin. We prepare the coat for grooming with careful brushing, de-shedding for heavy shedders and double coats, and only light de-matting where it is safe and humane.

3) Groom and Finish

Clip or hand scissor to breed standard or owner preference. We include tidy ups for face, feet and hygiene areas, plus nail trims, paw tidy and ear care where needed. A light fragrance is available on request.

4) Aftercare and Next Visit

We share home maintenance tips and suggest a revisit schedule that keeps the coat healthy and manageable. You can book your next Leeds appointment online in a few seconds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most dogs do well on a 6 to 8 week schedule. Double coated breeds benefit from regular de-shedding.

Yes. We focus on de-shedding and coat maintenance rather than shaving to preserve coat health.

We choose the kindest, safest option. Light tangles can be worked out. Severe matting may need a shorter, comfortable trim for welfare.

To keep dogs relaxed and focused, appointments are typically one-to-one without owners present.

Yes — many of my regulars prefer a quieter space.
